Hand Block

Made of Calcium Silicate and used to flatten the glass right after the bend. A 4″x31/2″ x 1/2 ” with Red Handle, the reason for the handle is to prevent a burn on the tip of your fingers which could happen if you don’t have a handle, with the handle you are not exposing your fingers to the hot glass, and the reason that it’s red, it’s because sometimes you forget where you left the block, but with the red handle it will be very visible, making it very easy to locate in those fractions of a second you have after putting the hot glass on the pattern.
