Update since 4 years ago
I’ve neglected this blog for 4 years, my last post was on 2022 and it was about Manuel Quezada, my Neon Glass Bending Student.
On 9/5/2022 i received a text message from Manuels Wife telling me that Manuel had passed away at 11;10 pm the night before.
Manuel was a Neon Student and a friend, he came regularly and always brought me big shuncks of meat, ( his wifes family owned a catle ranch so they had all the meat they wanted) he was one of the most kind peaople i’ve known, always offering help i any theing he saw i needed help with.
About a year before in one of his visits he tld me that he had been diagnosed with throat cancer and that he was starting on quemo therapy, as the months went by he kept in touch and he told me that the quemo was working but then it stoped working.
The last time i spoke with him he told me that the doctors were talking about hospice, two days later he died.
I have missed my friend very much.
